How Lil Tracker Added New Watch Features Through an OTA Update

Historical product update: This article describes an over-the-air software update released in October 2022 for select Lil Tracker Kids and Pro GPS watches. It is preserved as part of our product history and does not indicate that a new software update is currently available.


 

As of October 1st, 2022, we are pushing OTA (Over the Air) software updates to qualified Lil Tracker Kids and Pro model GPS tracker watches. These updates are 100% free and include a sleeker UI design, improved performance for voice calls, better connectivity, longer battery life and new free apps. Depending on your model, your GPS device may now include the following:

-Calculator

-Stopwatch

-Google Translate

-What's App messenger

-The ability to exchange SMS messages with any device

-App store (where we will push future free apps)

 

To update your Lil Tracker device to the latest OS (operating system), first ensure your watch is charged to a minimum of 50% battery capacity and is connected to a Wifi network. Next, swipe your watch to --> settings --> device info --> wireless updates --> download.
